Concept

Your job doesn’t stop while you’re improving your English. And your adult brain can’t recall information like it used to.

After 10 years of language coaching, I’ve found the most effective way for adults with big jobs and full lives to improve their English language skills is short, intensive exposure.

Think of it like HIIT training for language.

Language Sprints

Borrowing from design thinking and agile project management, the sessions are designed in a sprint rhythm.

Three sessions a week.‍ ‍
2 x 30 minutes online or per telephone
1 x 60 minutes in-person

8 weeks on, 4 weeks off.
Repeat as needed

Goal

At the end of the sprint, you will feel more confident speaking English and also have work product to show for your time.

We set specific goals individually.

What works well are tasks like process documentation, idea calibration, contract comprehension, product development and presentation preparation.

Format

1:1 - the pure sprint with three sessions a week. Usually works best for usually with senior management or C-suite clients.

1: many - better for a larger scale engagement. I am embedded in your department. Participants commit to 1:1 sessions during the sprint.

Inside this framework, participants are free to choose the time that fits their schedule.
